Zutphen CRC... who are we?

Our Mission :
To develop a body of believers fully devoted to Jesus Christ that reaches
into our community and beyond with His life-changing message.

Our Purpose :
Worship - We celebrate God's presence through worship.
Discipleship - We educate God's people through discipleship.
Fellowship - We incorporate God's family through our fellowship.
Evangelism - We communicate God's word through evangelism.
Service - We demonstrate God's love through service.

Zutphen :
A different name, we know, but it echoes back to the area of Holland (Netherlands) where the members who founded this congregation emigrated from... the congregation has a long history, founded in 1880. ZCRC is located in a rural community between Hudsonville and Zeeland, and we attempt to reach out and into this community with all sorts of activities and service projects.

Christian Reformed :
We are a part of a larger body of churches that make up the Christian Reformed denomination. Our roots go back to the Reformation and trace themselves through the countries of Western Europe. To find out more about the denomination we are affiliated with, visit the CRC site.

Some basic info about us :
• We have between 150-250 people worshiping with us on Sunday morning, with diversity in ages and demographics.

• Our worship services are held each Sunday at 9:30am and 5:00pm. Visiting?

• Our pastor, Josh VanDrunen, has been with us for a little over a year, and continues to challenge and encourage us in our walk with Jesus Christ.

• We believe church to be much more than just a shared worship service and fellowship on Sundays. Our congregation values discipleship and fellowship, and we have a variety of Bible studies and groups for participation... for any age. • Our greatest desire is to be and become what our mission statement says: a church body devoted to Jesus Christ that glorifies God, strengthens our relationships with each other, and has a positive impact in our community and beyond.
